MORNING STAR VOICES

Bio

Morning Star Voices also known as MSV is a family group, which initially started in 1996. This group of anointed singers are committed to sharing the Gospel through Praise and Worship. MSV was inactive, as a group, for a few years, but started again with new zeal and additional members, after the passing away of the late Rev. Dr. Harold Jackman, grandfather to most of the members. MSV is not only blessed with one of Toronto's best Producers and Sound Engineers, Pearry Caprietta, but also consists of talented songwriters and skilled musicians who have played for artists such as Karen Clarke, Toronto Mass Choir, The Campbell Sisters, George Banton, and many more.  The song writers of MSV have a variety of styles; from Caribbean, Latin American to Contemporary Gospel.

On April 23, 2005, MSV held their first concert at Riverside Church in Toronto. There was a tremendous response and the concert was a great blessing to all those who attended. Their fire for the Lord began to grow, thus it became their desire to share their ministry with people around the world.

On October 14, 2006, MSV had a live recording in Toronto and produced their first CD entitled "Live in Toronto".  MSV is also concerned about inspiring and giving opportunity to other gospel artists. Their "Live in Toronto" concert showcased the gifts of many talented Toronto Instrumental and Vocal Artists. MSV was thrilled to see that the presence of The Lord was with them in such a mighty way and people's lives were touched.

The main focus of this group is Ministry. Similar to their grandfather, they are missionary minded. They believe in the call of God in their lives to minister the gospel through Praise and worship and they do it readily with such an excitement that it is very contagious. Their ministry have grown tremendously over the years and they continually want to be led by God. They have had the privilege of sharing their God-given talents throughout the USA and Canada and have shared the stage with groups and recording artists from around the world and local artists such as Sharon Jackman and Patricia Shirley whose ministries are certainly a blessing to the people of Toronto.

Last January, MSV ministered at the Fox Theatre in Arizona and the day after they arrived home, they went to a local Christian School and sang for the students. When asked about how they do it - having just gotten off the plane the day before, in a different time zone, and enthusiastically ministered to the young children, one member said, "There is nothing like putting a smile on a young child's face. It's all for the glory of God".  MSV Children are also busy working for the Kingdom of God and can be heard ministering in song at most MSV events.

It is truly amazing what God can do with vessels that are totally surrendered to Him.
